  • Own gameplay programming for all combat units, including their behaviour, states, and operation within tactical encounters.
  • Design and implement ability systems covering unit actions, targeting, effects, and combat interactions.
  • Build and maintain grid positioning, navigation, and movement systems.

Candy Exchange | Game Director, Lead Designer & Programmer

Finance roguelike | Unity, C# | Six-person team | PC, itch.io

  • Created the original concept and directed the vision, translating personal day-trading experience into a finance-focused roguelike.
  • Led design of the core loop, market simulation, dynamic news events, progression, and replayable run structure.
  • Programmed key gameplay systems and built Unity editor tools for content creation and balance iteration.
  • Guided the team through planning, production, and delivery of a complete playable game within 12 weeks.

2025 | Eight-week production

Two-player couch co-op action game | Unity, C# | PC, itch.io

  • Owned the combat implementation, including attacks, hit detection, damage handling, combat states, and player feedback.
  • Designed and programmed the enemy AI system, covering state-driven behaviour, targeting, movement, and attack decisions.
  • Integrated combat and enemy behaviour into cooperative encounters for a consistent two-player experience.
  • Applied lessons in multiplayer feature scope and production planning within a fixed eight-week schedule.
